About WRS Materials

WRS Materials produces silicon wafers, a key component in the fabrication of integrated circuits and other micro-devices, and provides services related to the reclamation, oxidation, grinding and polishing of wafers. The company was formed from the technical strengths and engineering disciplines of Wafer Reclaim Services Inc., founded in 1994 and servicing the reclaim market, Montco Silicon Technologies, founded in 1983 and offering 2” – 12” virgin prime and test wafers, and Isonics, founded in 1999, specializing in low particle/low metal 6” – 12” reclaim.

WRS Materials operates from three facilities:

San Jose, California. WRS Materials is headquartered, in the heart of Silicon Valley. The 85,000-square-foot San Jose facility provides bare silicon and state-of-the art reclaim services

Spring City, Pennsylvania.  Product and services sales support and a Class 10 cleanroom that assures the quality required by the telecommunications, hard-drive and LED industries

Vancouver, Washington.  An ISO 9000 compliant site that enables production in a copper-free and gold-free environment to ensure excellent low surface metal control

Today, WRS Materials provides an extensive array of prime and test silicon wafers ranging from 50.2 mm to 300 mm.  The company’s services include reclaiming wafers, thermal oxidation, sputtered and deposited films and silicon-on-insulator technology.
