Stefan Roever

Stefan is Chairman and lead investor at WRS Materials, LLC. In addition to supporting WRS, Stefan is co-founder and CEO of Genia Technologies, Inc, a startup developing a point-of-care DNA sequencing device. Stefan is also a partner at MEGU Capital, a European early-stage angel/VC fund. Stefan was twice named “Technology Pioneer” by the World Economic Forum, whose members represent the world‘s leading companies across the globe, Stefan co-founded Brokat Technologies in 1994 and served as CEO, growing it into a leading provider of Internet banking software and wireless application infrastructure with 1,400 employees in 17 countries, taking it public in 1998 in Germany, and in 2001 on the NASDAQ. Named “Entrepreneur of the Year” in Germany in 1998 by Ernst & Young, Stefan was also ranked by Time as number 11 on its Digital 25 A-List of “25 people who will change the way you work, phone and play” in 2000.


Richard Perlman

In addition to serving on the board of WRS Materials, LLC, Richard also serves as Co-Chairman of the Board, Co-Chief Executive and a Director of ExamWorks. He is also the Chairman of Compass Partners, L.L.C., a merchant banking and financial advisory firm he founded in 1995 that specializes in middle market companies and corporate restructuring. Previously, Richard served as Chairman and Director of TurboChef Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: OVEN) which was acquired by Middleby Corporation (NASDAQ: MIDD) in January 2009. He was the Chairman of PracticeWorks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PWKS) until its acquisition by The Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE: EK) in 2003. Richard served as Chairman and Treasurer of VitalWorks Inc. (NASDAQ: AMCS) from January 1998 and as a Director from March 1997 until the completion of the spin-off of PracticeWorks, Inc. from VitalWorks in March of 2001. Prior to that Richard was involved in the acquisition and operation of several private companies in the home furnishings, automobile replacement parts and real estate industries where he was a principal and Chief Executive Officer. Richard is a Director of Alloy, Inc. (NASDAQ:ALOY), a media and marketing services company as well as several other privately held companies. He serves as a Trustee of the James Beard Foundation and as a Director on the non-profit board of Fighting Chance.  Richard received a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a M.B.A. from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.


James (Jim) K. Price

In addition to serving on the board of WRS Materials, LLC, Jim also serves as Co-Chairman, Co-Chief Executive and a Director of ExamWorks. Previously, he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of TurboChef Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: OVEN) which was acquired by Middleby Corporation (NASDAQ: MIDD) in January 2009. Jim was President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of PracticeWorks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PWKS) from its inception until its acquisition by The Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE: EK) in 2003. He is the founder of InfoCure Inc. and served as its Executive Vice President and Secretary from July 1997 until the completion of the spin-off of PracticeWorks in March of 2001. He also served as an executive officer of American Medcare. Jim co-founded and was as an executive officer of International Computer Solutions. Both companies were acquired by InfoCure. Jim sits on the Board of Directors of several other privately held companies and non-profit organizations. He holds a B.A. in marketing from the University of Georgia.


Michael Janssen

In addition to serving on the board of WRS Materials, LLC, Michael also serves as General Partner of Auxell GmbH, an investment boutique focused on early stage and growth companies, which he founded in 2002. In 2009 Michael founded Auxell Inc., located in the Silicon Valley, which provides investment and coaching activities primarily in the U.S.  He also serves as a General Partner of MEGU Capital, a US based private equity firm.  Previously, Michael was co-founder of Brokat AG and acted as Chief Financial Officer from 1994 until 2001. He was responsible for the financing and arrangement of several venture capital transactions, its IPO at Neuer Markt and NASDAQ listing. Michael serves as a member of several Boards of Directors including FAS AG, a consulting firm in the field of International Accounting, CUBUS LUX, an AIM listed company focusing on Croatia’s leisure industry and the hedge fund, Gladstone Partners. Michael attended universities in Germany and in California and received a M.B.A. with focus on financial management.
