Your company can save money by reusing your prime or test wafers over again, sometimes up to 3 or 4 times. Reclaim silicon wafers are used prime and test wafers that have been stripped of all films and patterns and re-polished to remove scratches.
Montco Silicon Technologies, Inc. will turn your used wafers into reusable silicon and guarantee a particle specification that meets your needs. All wafers go through an incoming sort, are stripped of films and lapped if necessary to cleanup any patterns or the backside. Prior to shipping the wafers to our customer we will sort the thickness of each wafer. The material that is returned to you will be the usable wafers with a good thickness, so that you pay for only the wafers that will meet your specifications.
Several customers benefit from our reclaim service by shipping their used wafers to us on a monthly or quarterly basis, to be released in predetermined quantities every 4 weeks. This keeps test material available at all times for the process engineers.
